How to request removal of your data from covari

At covari, we respect your right to control your personal data. If you signed up or logged in using Facebook, or if you'd like your data removed for any reason, you can request deletion at any time using the methods below.

Option 1: Delete Your Account In-App

If you have an active covari account, you can delete it directly from your dashboard:

  1. Log in to your covari account.
  2. Go to Settings from your dashboard.
  3. Scroll to the Delete Account section at the bottom of the page.
  4. Click "Delete My Account" and confirm the action.

This will immediately remove your personal information (name, bio, photos, phone number) and permanently delete your authentication credentials. Any active service listings will be deactivated.

Option 2: Request Deletion via Email

If you no longer have access to your account, or if you prefer to make a manual request, email us at privacy@covari.co with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Please include the email address associated with your account so we can locate your data.

We will process your request and confirm deletion within 30 days.

What Data Is Deleted

When you delete your account, we remove:

  • Your name, email, and profile information
  • Your bio, profile photos, and phone number
  • Your linked social media account data
  • Your authentication credentials
  • Active service listings (deactivated)

What May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained for a limited period as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:

  • Transaction records may be kept for up to 7 years for tax and legal compliance.
  • Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days before being automatically purged.
  • Anonymous, aggregated analytics data (which cannot be linked back to you) may be retained indefinitely.

Facebook Login Users

If you signed up using Facebook Login, you can also remove covari's access to your Facebook data through your Facebook App Settings. Removing covari from your connected apps will revoke our access to any Facebook data. To also delete the data we already stored, please follow one of the deletion methods above.
