How covari works

Brands run campaigns on covari. covari matches each campaign with creators and drafts an offer for each one at fair market value. You get the offer, decide whether to take it, deliver the work, and get paid through Stripe.

Joining is free. covari takes 5% of each payment you receive. There are no monthly fees.

1. Build your listing

When you sign up, onboarding walks you through eight short steps: your name, a photo, a short pitch, your connected accounts, the formats you make, up to three niches, links to your best work, and going live.

Your listing doesn't show a price. Brands send you an offer with their budget, and you decide. You can edit your listing any time in Tools → My Listings.

A few things that make a listing easier for a brand to say yes to:

  • A real photo of you.
  • A pitch of two or three specific sentences: who your audience is and what you make for them.
  • Only the formats you actually post.
  • Specific niches rather than broad ones.
  • Links to the posts or videos you're proudest of.

2. Connect your accounts

Connect Instagram, YouTube or TikTok during onboarding or later in Settings → Connections. Brands then see your followers, engagement rate and average views pulled from the platform instead of numbers you typed in, and campaign matching has real data to work with.

3. Connect your bank

Go to Settings → Billing → Connect Bank Account. covari pays out through Stripe. You can accept offers before you connect a bank, but your payouts wait until you do.

4. Set your availability

In Tools → Availability, choose Open to partnerships, Selectively accepting, At capacity or On hiatus. At capacity and On hiatus keep you out of new campaign matches until you change it back.

5. Answer offers

Offers show up on Today and in Collabs. Each one lists the deliverables, the dates and the payment, and shows what you'll receive after the 5% fee. You can accept it, decline it, or suggest different terms. Campaign offers have a deadline, shown on the offer.

Before you answer, it's worth reading How to set your rates.

6. Deliver and get paid

Once you accept, the brand's payment is secured through Stripe and held until the work is approved. You submit each deliverable on the deal page, and its share of the payment is released when the brand approves it. Delivering work that gets approved and How payment protection works cover both in detail.

Share your Bio Link

Tools → Bio Link gives you one link for your social bios. It can open your covari listing, so a brand that finds you on social lands on your profile and can send you an offer, or a link-in-bio page with your own links.
